📋 Job Overview

As an MRB Stress Engineer at Capgemini Engineering in Bangalore, you will join a multidisciplinary team supporting A220 aircraft programs, focusing on static, fatigue, and damage tolerance stress evaluations. The role involves reviewing defects, providing MRB stress approvals for reworks and repairs during final assembly, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and justifications for acceptance of defects without repair
  • Approve removal and replacement of damaged parts
  • Validate rework acceptance based on equivalent strength capability, stress levels, and environmental conditions
  • Establish technical solutions for metallic and composite structures
  • Collaborate with Liaison Engineers to provide timely stress substantiations for manufacturing and assembly issues
  • Engage with offsite Stress Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Support delivery teams and external customers with technical expertise
  • Share technical knowledge across FAL sites
  • Document analyses in stress work files

✅ Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in stress engineering
  • MRB or MAP experience
  • Expertise in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, finite element, and static stress analysis
  • Strong knowledge of composite materials and aircraft structural design
  • Familiarity with stress calculations, aeronautical materials, and design office practices
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

  • Bilingual in French and English
