🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Microfocus Enterprise Developer and Visual COBOL
- Perform mainframe modernization and migration to Microfocus and cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS)
- Configure and manage Microfocus Enterprise Server/Test Server on virtual machines
- Develop and optimize COBOL programs, JCL scripts, and batch processes
- Engineer integrations between legacy systems and cloud-based solutions
- Conduct impact analysis, code refactoring, and performance tuning
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and deployment
