Adjudicate background screenings based on criminal, education, and work history
Access/update multiple databases/trackers
Support compliance changes, updates and initiatives
Contact candidates to resolve discrepancies as needed
Work with vendor to address minor candidate background issues
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow written policy, use critical thinking/problem solving skills to adjudicate complex cases
Possess cognitive flexibility, time management skills, and task initiation
Ability to navigate complex and sensitive subject matter in a poised and professional manner
Possess a high level of integrity
Experience in a role requiring decisioning applications using good judgement
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 1 year of experience adjudicating background investigation results or pre-employment screenings against established guidelines
1+ year of process management or project management experience
2+ years of risk management experience
2+ years security, law enforcement, legal experience or paralegal experience with either an in-house legal department or a law firm
1+ year of experience in Human Resources
50,000 - 85,000 USD / yearly
