That’s why our team is looking to add aPrincipal Coordinator, Security Ops Specialist.As a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist, you’ll carry out day-to-day activities in the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC). The GSOC is our 24/7 security and intelligence function that evaluates and reports on hazards and threats to the company including but not limited to natural disasters, terror attacks, civil unrest, workplace violence, facility intrusion and others. This position works rotating shifts that may include weekends, holidays, evenings and overnight shifts. This role's hours are expected to be 3pm-11pm Sunday through Thursday, but is subject to change with the needs of the business.The Ideal Candidate Should 
  • Communicate effectively, especially during incident response; keep stakeholders updated

  • Place importance on our partners’ experience when making decisions; provide necessary support

  • Show flexibility in handling various security events or emergency situations

  • Manage time efficiently

  • Be able to write effective security reports

  • Have a penchant for investigation and the ability to think critically

  • Ask clarifying questions when uncertain

  • Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements

  • Be a consistent team player

  • Key Responsibilities: 
  • Intake of critical response communications

  • Responding to calls for equipment service and information about security-related technology systems, which includes, but is not limited to, phone, email, and emergency mass notification tools 

  • Monitor and respond to security alarms utilizing the alarm monitoring tools themselves, or cameras and various intelligence resources in order to identify and resolve physical security threats 

  • Synthesize large amounts of information quickly 

  • Create a comprehensive documented record of security-related incidents 

  • Coordinate routine and critical incident communications 

  • Understand the proper use of security-related tools and procedures

  • Implement access control procedures

  • Assist with physical security validations for our partners and vendors

  • Support general security, first responder, and law enforcement engagement and response to incidents

  • Escalate to supervisors when appropriate 

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in one or more of these fields: Law enforcement, Military, Corporate Security, Business Continuity, Risk, Emergency Management or Customer Service

  • At least 1 year of experience with security operations 

  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • 3+ years of experience in the security field

  • 1+ years of experience with emergency communication operations

  • 1+ years of experience with situational awareness tools  for example NC4 and VCC

  • 1+ years of SOC experience

  • 1+ years of experience with MAStermind, Lenel, Verint or Genetec video systems, or the D3 report-writing platform
