Our team builds and scales services that support how card credentials are managed, updated, and used across the payment landscape. We operate at the interaction of issuers, acquirers and merchants delivering modern, resilient platforms that improve transaction outcomes and enable seamless customer experiences. Working across data, technology, operation and network operations partners, we continuously evolve our product to meet the needs of a dynamic and rapidly changing payments environment.Capital One Product Framework:In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:
  • Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions

  • Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks 

  • Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Define high level requirements and drive end-to-end product planning aligning with cross functional.

  • Observe build execution including tracking milestones, managing dependencies, identifying blocker.

  • Manage stakeholder updates, such as status reporting, risk/issue escalation, readiness communication.

  • Partner with operations, client communications and launch readiness team. 

  • Enable continuous product improvement through structured feedback loops, product insights, and cross functional learning.

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in payments, card networks, card lifecycle. 

  • Familiarity with card-on-file, recurring payments, and token.

  • Ability to influence cross functional teams like technology, operations, go to market in fast-paced, iterative delivery environments. 

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
