This role is critical in bridging the gap between strategic vision and its execution. You will be instrumental in establishing,maturing, and maintaining the governance and processes that drive effective decision-making across our entire organization. Job Responsibilities:
  • Define, Implement and continuously refine portfolio processes across an entire organization – making it easier for teams to work on the right things, at the right time

  • Lead and support complex, cross-departmental efforts by providing strategic direction, clarity, and results

  • Provide product and tech leadership with actionable insights into portfolio performance

  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure portfolio practices are meeting the needs of the organization

  • Lead portfolio reviews and prioritization sessions to get ahead of capacity constraints, make tradeoff decisions and ensure overall alignment 

  • Manage and optimize the use of Portfolio/Project tools (i.e. JIRA) to ensure data accuracy and effective reporting

  • Identify strategic process and tooling gaps, then work with organization to address gaps and optimize performance

  • Partner with Ops and Product leaders to transform authorizations into a well-oiled machine – organizing us from intake-to-delivery

  • Gather, Analyze, and Report out portfolio metrics to top of house, streamlining the report process along the way

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • At Least 5 years of experience in portfolio or program management for large, complex organizations

  • At least 3 years working in an Agile environment

  • At least 2 years of experience working with technical or product teams

  • At least 2 years of people management experience

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s Degree

  • 5+ years leading portfolio management for organizations that exceed 100 people

  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma Certification

  • 3+ years of people management experience

  • 3+ years of gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Jira
