Full-time new hires for this role will start as a cohort in a rotational program in August 2026.
This role is a full-time associate position within a 18-month rotational program, designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of leading talent.
Participation in the program requires that you are located in Mexico City, with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model. For those not currently located in Mexico City, it is expected that you will relocate prior to the start of the program in August 2026.
Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Information Technology, or other technical field obtained between December 2024 and August 2026, with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2026.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, HTML, Swift, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, .net, asp.net, Visual Basic
Hands on technical experience through activities such as: technical internship, part-time technical role, STEM teaching assistant, or technical research
A challenging role where you will work collaboratively on agile teams with talented colleagues who are ready to take on new and unexpected challenges while building the next wave of engineering solutions
Current, state of the art technology and tools, including working with a cloud-native stack, building on AWS using technologies like Kubernetes and Serverless.
Technical mentorship and training through meetups, conferences, certifications and tech talks to build out your skillset on topics such iOS and Android, AWS, Open Source Big Data tools, Security, Voice Driven Applications and more
Exposure to Technology executives and a diverse network of skilled engineers
