Overview

Key Role Details

  • This is a full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2026.  

  • Participation in the internship requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model, for the duration of the program.

  • Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within our rotational programs, with start dates six months to one year following the completion of the internship. 

    • At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2027 or earlier (for example: If you are graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in May 2026 and are also currently enrolled in a full-time Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date of May 2027, then your most recent degree program is your Master’s degree)

  • Must be continuing in the same course of study of your most recent full-time degree program following completion of the internship

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or quantitative discipline, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, and mathematics

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

  • Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, HTML, Swift, PHP, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl,.net, asp.net, Visual Basic
