Key Responsibilities

As a Category Management Senior Analyst, your impact will be felt across high-stakes projects. Key duties include:

• Supporting the $8 Billion PepsiCo Walmart Beverage Category Advisor team by managing project requests, assignments, and deliverables in partnership with the Senior Advisor.
• Running and analyzing weekly category reporting distributed to multiple customer stakeholders.
• Owning item attribution processes and ongoing maintenance to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborating on customer modular/planogram requirements, category updates, timelines, and implementations.
• Partnering with merchants and the advisor team on category strategy development, advanced software utilization, and performance tracking.
• Assisting with new hire onboarding and training processes.
• Managing all data inputs/outputs for category teams’ reporting tools.
• Conducting detailed category decompositions using tools like Scintilla, Retail Link/RSI, IRI POS, IRI Panel, and Custom Shopper Research to translate data into Insights to Action.
• Building and maintaining relationships with Walmart Merchants through objective analysis, insights, and presentations.

Daily Impact

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics.
• 2-3 years with Space Management software (JDA Category Management suite preferred) and merchandising principles.
• Technical proficiency in processing large data volumes accurately.
• Experience building/editing PowerBI and/or Tableau dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills to convert data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with category data tools like JDA, Shelf IQ, and PepsiCo reporting software.
• Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork abilities.
