Join our team as an Electrical Repair Technician, where you’ll diagnose and repair electrical faults, rework parts, and ensure products meet Caterpillar’s quality standards. You will work with hand/power tools, read schematics, and support continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues on machines and components

• Rework and test parts to resolve non-conformance

• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

• Use hand/power tools and lifting equipment safely

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow health & safety practices

• Support apprentices and share knowledge

• Contribute to process improvements and quality standards

Skills We’re Looking For:

• Strong electrical fault-finding and repair skills

• Ability to read and understand schematics

• Skilled in using hand/power tools and lifting equipment

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexible approach and willingness to learn

What You'll Ideally Have:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Job Title: Electrical Repair Technician

Salary: £35,247 rising when role triggers are met to £39,000

Contract: Permanent

Shift: Days
