This position will work in Caterpillar China (Qingdao) R&D Center Electrification + Energy Solution team on competitive battery solutions development.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for battery system requirements define and documentation.
负责电池系统的需求定义和归档
2. Work with battery detail design engineers for battery concept development
与电池设计工程师一起完成概念设计
3. Lead battery on machine integration and installation design
负责电池在整车上的集成和安装设计
4. Participating in battery design reviews
参与电池的设计评审
5. Supporting battery validation lead to complete DFMEA and DVP development.

6. Responsible for design issue management and resolutions during development.

7. Support machine prototype and pilot build

Degree Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Material, Electrical Engineering or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
机械工程、机械电子、材料工程、电气工程或相关专业本科及以上学历，硕士学历优先。

Skills Preference

Technical Skills / 技术能力
Solid knowledge and practical skills in power battery design and integration, including module and pack-level development.
具备扎实的电池模组及Pack设计与集成相关知识与技能。

Engineering Fundamentals / 工程基础
Proficient in mechanical design principles, FEA analysis, electrical systems, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
熟练掌握机械设计基础、有限元分析、电气系统、热传导及流体力学等工程基础知识。

Design Tools / 设计工具
Skilled in using Creo or other 3D design tools, with strong capabilities in 2D drawing creation.
熟练使用Creo或其他3D设计软件，具备良好的2D图纸设计能力。

Manufacturing Process / 制造工艺
Familiarity with battery module and pack manufacturing processes; demonstrated hands-on engineering capabilities.
熟悉电池模组及Pack的制造工艺，具备良好的动手能力。

Data Analysis / 数据分析
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation; detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
熟练运用统计分析与数据处理工具，具备严谨细致的工作态度及良好的文档撰写与报告能力。

Communication & Project Management / 沟通与项目管理
Effective communication and project management abilities.
具备良好的沟通能力与项目管理能力。

English & Teamwork / 英语与团队合作
Good command of English; collaborative team player with a passion for new technologies and strong self-motivation.
英语能力良好，具备团队合作精神，对新技术充满兴趣，能够自我激励

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
