This position will work in Caterpillar China (Qingdao) R&D Center Electrification + Energy Solution team on competitive site charging solutions development.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct in-depth analysis of customers' power supply sources and charging demand characteristics across different application scenarios.

Track the actual usage process of customers' electrified products, and accurately identify pain points in charging needs and existing issues.

跟踪客户电动化产品的实际使用过程，精准识别充电需求痛点及现存问题

Be responsible for converting customer needs into system-level requirements for charging solutions, ensuring the requirements are implementable and executable.

负责将客户需求转化为充电方案的系统级需求，确保需求可落地、可执行

Lead cross-functional teams to complete the full-process design of charging system solutions, including scheme demonstration and detail implementation.

带领跨职能团队完成充电系统方案的全流程设计，包括方案论证、细节落地等

Participate in the selection evaluation of charging pile products and supplier screening, ensuring product quality and supply chain stability.

参与充电桩产品的选型评估与供应商筛选工作，保障产品质量与供应链稳定性

Provide technical support during the operation of charging systems, and quickly respond to and resolve various technical issues.

提供充电系统使用期间的技术支持，快速响应并解决各类技术问题

Degree Required

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronic Technology or related majors.
本科及以上学历，电气工程、自动化、电子技术或相关专业背景。

Skill Preference

Domain Knowledge / 领域知识
In-depth understanding of charging pile systems, power engineering, and related technologies.
深入了解充电桩系统、电力工程及相关技术。

Component Expertise / 元器件专业知识
Familiarity with performance parameters and application scenarios of high and low voltage distribution components; awareness of charging pile market trends.
熟悉高低压配电成套元器件的性能参数与应用场景，了解充电桩市场发展动态。

Project Execution Skills / 项目执行能力
Ability to manage the full lifecycle of charging station construction, including planning, approval, construction, and acceptance; skilled in identifying and managing key implementation points.
能够管理充电站建设的全流程（规划、审批、施工、验收），熟练掌握具体实施要点。

System Design & Protocols / 系统设计与协议应用能力
Proficiency in distribution system design and operation & maintenance; solid grasp of basic circuit principles and practical experience with serial port protocols such as RS485/RS232.
熟练掌握配电系统设计与运维，具备基本电路原理知识，具备串口协议（如 RS485/RS232）应用经验。

Stakeholder Communication / 沟通与协调能力
Strong communication and coordination skills; capable of conducting needs analysis and effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in customer engagement, including product application guidance and after-sales technical support.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
