We are seeking a Manager of Human Resources to lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with our business objectives. This role is critical in fostering a culture of engagement, growth, and collaboration while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.

What You Will Do:

• Partner with management as a strategic advisor to identify and prioritize HR initiatives that support organizational goals.

• Align HR policies and programs within your business unit or region to drive engagement, retention, and performance.
• Act as a trusted coach to leaders and managers on HR matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.
• Drive HR strategy and employee development at the facility, working closely with site leadership and Centers of Excellence to deliver impactful solutions.
• Manage strategic HR projects and implement effective change management practices.
• Support hiring, training, and safety initiatives across the organization.
• Provide guidance to employees on policies, practices, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

What You Have:

• Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
• Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
• Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
• Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Extensive experience in Human Resources consulting, with a proven ability to deliver practical, strategic solutions and advise managers on complex HR initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of HR strategies, tools, and techniques, and the confidence to guide leaders through HR-related decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Advanced skills in data analysis and the ability to tell a compelling story through reporting.
• Proficiency in HR systems and reporting tools (e.g., Workday, Power BI, Excel).
• Ability to present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences across all organizational levels.
• Exceptional judgment, creative problem-solving, and a consultative mindset.

Additional Information:

• Position is in Dyer, IN; The selected candidate will be required to be on site Monday to Friday.
• This role requires less than 10% travel.
• Relocation will be available for this role.
• Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
