Job Summary:
Join the Gen AI Engineering team of Cat Digital and take charge of leading and coordinating a team dedicated to building advanced generative AI solutions—including intelligent agents, digital assistants, and other innovative capabilities. You will shape the development of cutting-edge products that redefine how customers and dealers interact with technology through AI-driven experiences.

What You Will Do:

  • Providing strong technical support and clear direction to ensure the team is aligned with company goals and capable of delivering advanced AI projects.
  • Managing resources efficiently to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
  • Overseeing the performance of both individual team members and the team as a whole, fostering a culture of learning by identifying and addressing training and development needs.
  • Establishing and supervising the implementation of engineering best practices to maintain consistency and excellence in development processes.
  • Taking ownership of the quality of engineering products, making sure all solutions are robust, reliable, and meet high standards.


What You Will Have:

  • Analytical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Emerging Technologies: Extensive knowledge of emerging technologies; ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments.
  • Innovation: Extensive knowledge of the value of innovation; ability to create and develop new ideas for answers to work-related problems that improve the performance of the organization
  • Organizational Leadership: Extensive knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.
  • Machine Learning: Extensive knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Typically, an advanced degree in statistics, data science, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework is highly desired.
  • Demonstratable experience delivering Gen AI solutions as an individual contributor or as a manager or lead of a team.
  • Competency in coaching and mentoring Data Scientists in the creation, validation, and application of statistical models as well as in implementing digital solutions
  • Experience leading analytics projects connecting data from various business domains and providing forecasts and insights to run the business profitably
  • Strong initiative to research and apply new methods and digital technologies to exceed customer expectations.
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication and delegation skills.
  • Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.

Additional Information:

This position will have the option to be based out of our Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL or Irving, TX offices.
