Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

As the Manager Commercial, you will lead development and execution of commercial strategy of assigned products and/or markets – leading a team of 5 members, fostering collaboration and high performance. You will also be responsible for overseeing supplier relationships and strategic direction for the publication.cat.com business. You will partner with the SIS product owner to accelerate technician adoption of innovative features.

What You Will Do:

• Identify and analyze the organization's strengths and weaknesses and respond to opportunities in sales environment. • Translate new feature NPI developments into actionable Go To Market strategies that align with both short- and long-term business objectives.

• Develop and manage promotional events (Webinar, conference, dealer meetings, etc) in alignment with long and short-term Go To Market strategies.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
