Seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional product development teams focused on delivering innovative solutions in data visualization, equipment insights, connectivity, and productivity services. This role is responsible for guiding the development and deployment of software products across both on-premises and cloud-based environments, ensuring compatibility with legacy systems and successful integration across diverse customer landscapes. This role is part of the Autonomy and Automation team and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital solutions for industrial applications.

The Engineering Manager will oversee a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and drive strategic alignment across product lines and platform initiatives, with a strong emphasis on modern UI frameworks and Java-based backend systems. This position includes direct supervision of 15+ full-time employees and over 30 agency and partner employees, requiring exceptional leadership, technical depth, and program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions across data visualization, equipment insights, connectivity, and productivity services. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements.
• Guide the implementation of robust architectures using Java for backend services and Angular for user interfaces. Ensure compatibility across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Ensure to adhere SAFe/Agile methodologies to manage program increments, sprint execution, and iterative delivery. Promote agile best practices across teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, including selection, onboarding, performance evaluation, and contract compliance. Ensure external contributions meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Champion the adoption of Agentic AI and other advanced technologies to enhance automation, decision-making, and user experience.
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
• Identify and address technical and operational risks. Maintain compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
• Provide clear, timely updates to senior leadership on program status, risks, and strategic impact. Support executive decision-making with concise reporting and analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in product development, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in leading Java backend development and Angular UI framework related projects.
• Experience delivering solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Deep understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies and experience leading cross-functional Agile teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing vendor relationships, including performance tracking and contract oversight.
• Experience with AI-driven technologies and their integration into enterprise applications.
• Solid experience in budget management, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certifications in Agile, SAFe, or PMP.
• Experience in industrial software, enterprise platforms, or data visualization systems.
