about the position
Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineering Lead - Static Equipment, this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru. Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

Management and Technical Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university
• Ideally 8 – 15 years of experience in an operational support role or similar for a complex refinery, chemical processing or LNG facility
• Demonstrated supervisory experience will be highly regarded for minimum 1 year required
• Mech design experience (i.e. spec'ing equipment, pipe design, operations support)
• Experience in brownfield environment (can include site visits for projects at min)
Preferred:
• Experience working in an industrial operating environment (e.g. working onsite at a refinery, chem plant, etc.)
• Proven ability to: Perform engineering calculations including but not limited to hydraulics calculations, pipe required thickness and stress calculations and pressure vessel design and required thickness calculations; Interpret P&ID’s, plot plans, piping, equipment and structural drawings.
