As the Chief Engineer at PepsiCo's Moscow Tsaritsyno facility, you will spearhead the technical operations of our production plant. This senior leadership role involves overseeing the entire technical service division, including auxiliary units like utilities and boiler rooms. You will drive operational excellence, ensure equipment reliability, and implement strategies to boost production efficiency in the fast-paced food and beverage sector. Reporting to plant leadership, you will manage budgets, teams, and maintenance programs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position is ideal for seasoned engineers with deep expertise in food manufacturing who thrive in high-stakes environments and are passionate about lean principles and technological innovation.

Ensure seamless day-to-day functionality and long-term reliability of all production and engineering equipment. Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize output.

Control the cost levels of spare parts inventory and guarantee timely procurement to prevent production interruptions. Analyze spending patterns to identify savings opportunities without compromising quality.

Oversee the performance of engineering and technical personnel, providing training to boost their expertise. Handle recruitment, evaluation, motivation, and professional development to build a high-performing team. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety, innovation, and accountability.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all production and engineering equipment in line with safety standards, particularly for hazardous facilities involving ammonia and boiler systems. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and PepsiCo's rigorous quality protocols.
To excel in this role, candidates must bring proven experience in food production environments. Key qualifications include at least 5 years in senior roles such as Chief Engineer, Chief Power Engineer, Technical Director, or Maintenance Manager. Experience with hazardous objects like ammonia systems and boiler rooms is essential, alongside a strong grasp of lean manufacturing.
A higher technical education degree is required. You should demonstrate hands-on team leadership skills—from hiring and performance assessments to motivation and skill development. Exceptional communication abilities are critical for stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in specialized information systems (e.g., CMMS, ERP) and advanced Microsoft Office applications is mandatory. Russian fluency is expected, with English as a plus for global collaboration.
PepsiCo offers a premium compensation package tailored to top talent. Enjoy a competitive salary estimated between $65,000 and $95,000 USD annually (adjusted for local market with buffer), plus performance-based bonuses.
