Meet the Team

Cisco Customer Experience (CX) is a team of innovative technical leaders dedicated to helping strategic accounts achieve their business outcomes through Cisco solutions. We work closely with both internal stakeholders and customer teams—from technical staff to CXO level—to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business priorities. Our team is dynamic, collaborative, and spans multiple domains including Networking, Data Center/Cloud, Security, Automation, AI, and Software. We thrive on solving sophisticated challenges, driving innovation, and mentoring talent, creating an environment where technical expertise and creativity are celebrated. Joining this team means being at the forefront of technology and delivering tangible impact for customers.

Your Impact

As a Customer Delivery Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to top strategic accounts, shaping architectural visions and driving technology solutions that meet customer goals. You will align Cisco strategy with customer requirements, find opportunities for innovation and growth, and guide multi-functional teams to deliver comprehensive, multi-domain solutions. Success in this role is measured by the ability to create scalable solutions, strengthen customer relationships, and drive adoption of Cisco services and technologies.

  • Understand customer technology roadmaps and proactively design solutions to meet business objectives.

  • Position the value of Cisco solutions as part of an integrated approach to solving complex customer challenges.

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with customer and internal Cisco collaborators to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.

  • Lead multi-functional teams across multi-domain architectures to deliver scalable, effective technology solutions.

  • Actively participate in industry forums, technical conferences, and user groups. Author white papers, blogs, or case studies to share standard methodologies and establish thought leadership within the external technical community.

  • Own the architectural design for AI/ML clusters and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Guide customers on the convergence of traditional networking with AI workloads (GPU interconnects, power efficiency, and lossless Ethernet).

  • Participate in services presales activities, identify up-sell opportunities, and articulate the value of combined Cisco services and technology solutions.

  • Mentor and train junior team members, building technical expertise within the team.

  • Advocate for emerging technologies and solutions relevant to customers’ strategic architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of IT experience with a track record of creative problem-solving in sophisticated technology projects.

  • Over 10 years of experience deploying technology solutions.

  • Technical leadership across two or more domains such as Networking, Data Center/Cloud, Security, Automation, AI, or Software.

  • Expert-level experience in at least one of the following: fabric technologies, EVPN/ACI/SDA/SDWAN, AI, or Service-as-Code.

  • Experience in networking and data center technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant technical field.

  • Experience designing data center architectures specifically for Generative AI models (LLMs) and understanding the specific power, cooling, and bandwidth requirements of AI workloads.

  • DevNet Professional certification or equivalent experience in network software automation, microservices, containers, cloud, databases, or open-source technologies.

  • Advanced expertise in IT/OT operations, security, governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT5, TOGAF, CISSP, SecOps).

  • Solid understanding of Cisco portfolio; multi-vendor experience is a plus, solid understanding of Cisco Services offerings.

  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), site reliability engineering (SRE), Agile, DevOps, or SecOps practices.

  • Deep understanding of industry trends, business challenges, and ability to translate them into technology solutions at a vertical or segment level.

  • Strong mentoring, leadership, and collaborative skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels.
