Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.
In this role, you will work closely with Work Place Resources (WPR) operations to manage real estate portfolio. This would be an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of Cisco’s transition to Hybrid work, as well as to learn FP&A and business partnering skills.
Enabling the Annual Budget and Quarterly Commit submissions for EMEA (~$200M annual Opex spend)
Month end activities, accrual reviews
Driving the monthly/quarterly Financial Review processes
Ensuring the Opex variance to be less than the minimum limits set for the theaters, by facilitating appropriate analysis for the stakeholders and flagging sudden blips
Supporting the process adherence in WPR spends through PR approvals
Facilitate the Plan to Deliver process by actively participating in the CAPEX Planning exercise
Support financial due diligence process in project evaluations with NPV analysis, Payback analysis
Ensuring the financial processes align with GAAP principles, in applicable areas like Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets etc.
WPR Finance team will engage with business partners in process mapping and improvements which may involve other cross functional finance teams. Client engagement (Cisco internal) on WPR facility allocations and financial impact appraisal in decision making. Interface with Accounting teams to enable trouble shooting in monthly accruals, reserve, allocation accounting etc. Interact with AP.
University Degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA Finance from reputed institution with at least 4 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting is preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a virtual organization environment and with several cross functional teams
Team player with a drive to lead
Ability to deep dive while performing under time pressure
Proficiency in Excel, Pivot table, Powerpoint
(advantageous) Project Accounting experience
