Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Technical Leader, you will own the strategy, implementation, and governance of Cisco’s manufacturing quality programs, driving systemic improvements and ensuring consistent product excellence. You will work across manufacturing partners, NPI projects, and site moves to mitigate quality risks while fostering best practices.

  • Establish, implement, and manage comprehensive manufacturing quality programs, policies, and QMS governance to ensure Cisco’s standards are met.

  • Conduct vendor audits, track performance metrics, and coordinate corrective actions to reduce risk and improve delivery predictability.

  • Lead root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and maintain Process FMEAs (PFMEAs) to prevent recurrence of product, test, or assembly issues.

  • Improve manufacturing line quality, support New Product Introductions (NPI) and site moves, and proactively prevent technical or production disruptions.

  • Develop and integrate data sets into factory quality monitoring systems, assess partner performance using scorecards, and report quality trends to guide continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability, process improvements, and field performance feedback are effectively integrated.

  • Drive systemic solutions, best practices, and proactive risk management across manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related hardware engineering field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality and/or manufacturing engineering.

  • Proven experience with Process FMEA, Control Plans, and New Product Quality Planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause investigations, data analysis, and implement corrective actions.

  • Strong communication skills with experience influencing technical and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience managing supplier quality programs and audits.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quality and performance monitoring tools.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional problem-solving.
