  • Policy Execution & Reporting: Set and ensure quality policy requirements are executed, and quality performance is measured and reported consistently.
  • Scorecard & Assessments: Own the scorecard methodology and conduct regular assessments to measure the quality performance and risk of Cisco’s manufacturing partners.
  • Excursion Management: Monitor manufacturing partner excursion management, macro quality trends, and report quality-related disruptions to and escapes from the manufacturing process.
  • Issue Resolution: When quality issues arise, ensure that field quality risk is mitigated to restart manufacturing while driving to true root cause and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Proactively manage manufacturing quality risk by conducting Process FMEAs and audits.
  • NPI & Site Moves: Ensure that foundational changes to production – such as new product introductions or site moves – maintain or exceed quality expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Supply Chain Operations and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability and field performance feedback are integrated into product design and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Best Practices: Ensure that best practices are instituted across manufacturing sites, partners, and products.
  • Data Integration: Develop and integrate new data sets into factory quality monitoring systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You are a highly experienced and independent quality professional with a passion for driving excellence in manufacturing.

  • English language proficient

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Independence: Able to work fully independently with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid understanding and experience in performing root cause investigations, data analysis, and communicating findings, along with closed-loop corrective, preventative, and risk mitigation actions to executives and business partners.
