Meet the Team 

Cisco’s Distribution Planning Team is a vital part of our supply chain operations. Our mission is to enable Distribution bookings revenue, develop inventory strategies, optimize costs, and deliver a differentiated partner and customer experience. Our team leads collaborative planning processes to achieve critical business outcomes for Cisco and its Partners.  

 

Your Impact 

As a Distribution Planning Manager, you will lead strategic planning processes to deliver business-critical outcomes while optimizing costs and enhancing partner/customer experiences. 

  • Trusted advisor guiding Disti Partners/customers as face of Cisco Supply Chain

  • Planning Disti bookings and shipments to meet quarterly Revenue targets   

  • Plan inventory targets to ensure availability / service level, meet Disti/customer requirement at optimum cost (lower ageing and excess mitigation).

  • Successful launch & ramp of New Products 

  • Managing Backlog and order escalation support

  • Drive process innovation through data/analytics, drive change management & productivity 

 

Minimum Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points - these should be clearly defined, objective, non-comparative, relevant, and quantifiable to appropriately evaluate applicants – not including soft skills): 

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain function

  • Hands-on experience in Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR), inventory management & product lifecycle management  

  • MBA with experience in Operations management

  • Experience in ERP, tools & dashboards ( Demantra, Kinaxis, Tableau, etc..)

  • Knowledge of supply chain Financials & Sales process

 

Preferred Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points:  these can include soft skills)

  • Ability to collaborate across Partner, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain teams

  • Exceptional Communication & Influencing skills to lead conversations across stakeholders (Internal & External)

  • Reporting and analytics skills to analyze huge data sets to drive business insights

  • Ability to work in a volatile, complex & ambiguous business environment

  • Influence and drive change with speed
