About This Role

As a Security Channels Solutions Engineer at Cisco in Mumbai, India, you will provide technical sales support and guidance on Cisco Security solutions to partners and distributors across the APJC region. The role involves building trusted advisor relationships, demonstrating solutions, and driving sales opportunities using Cisco tools and processes. You will articulate the value of Cisco's threat-centric security platform in hybrid cloud, zero trust, and security operations contexts.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Cybersecurity Partner Team, Sales Specialist, and general Sales team with customer opportunities and Partner development across APJC region
  • Promote technical value and business benefits of Cisco Security solutions and Go-To-Market approach
  • Build trusted technical advisor relationships with partners at all levels and present solutions in business-relevant manner
  • Utilize Cisco processes and tools like Salesforce to navigate sales cycle and drive Security opportunities
  • Explain Cisco Security solutions, architecture, and interconnections with Cisco portfolio to partners and customers
  • Ensure detailed features, functionality, and architectural impact are effectively communicated in designs and proposals
  • Articulate benefits of Cisco Security Platform across Hybrid Cloud, Zero Trust Access, and Security Operations

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive knowledge and experience across information security domain
  • Ability to conduct business and technical conversations at various levels with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • University degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the security field
  • 2 years as a pre-sales Systems Engineer (SE) experience

  • Experience in enterprise architecture, security operations, compliance auditing, or Security DevOps
  • Cisco CCIE certification
  • Outstanding presentation skills and strong personal organization
