Your Impact 

Transform breakthrough Speech AI research into scalable features that enhance global communication through cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with researchers to optimize advanced model architectures, adapting them to meet technical requirements while maintaining high performance in real-world applications. Develop cloud-native solutions that deliver Speech AI capabilities to millions of users, balancing the demands of high uptime and test coverage with opportunities for continuous innovation. Define critical APIs and programming interfaces that ensure seamless integration between cutting-edge AI models and Cisco products. Grow your expertise in specialized voice technologies through challenging projects and mentorship opportunities while contributing to our culture of shared learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with Go, C++, Python, or similar languages

• Experience contributing to backend services or distributed systems that handle concurrent requests or streaming data pipelines

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly in a collaborative environment

• Experience with AI toolsets like TensorRT, ONNX, PyTorch, or Triton Server

• Experience writing and maintaining automated test suites for production software

• Completed coursework, certification, or project work demonstrating understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in team settings while also taking ownership of independent work, contributing to a culture of shared learning through knowledge exchange and documentation

• Experience collaborating across functions (research, product, development) and translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
