  • セールスプロセスの技術評価フェーズを積極的に推進・リードし、セールスおよびチャネルチームと連携しながら、製品・サービスの主要な技術アドバイザー兼擁護者として活躍
  • 技術的なセールス活動のプレゼンテーション、デモンストレーション、対応経験を活かし、顧客の技術担当者および経営層に対して製品を提案・販売
  • Splunkの技術、機能、ソリューション、アプリケーションに関する顧客からの技術的な質問に回答し、ビジネスおよび技術ユーザー双方に対して製品の位置づけを明確に説明
  • 担当アカウントの技術的課題を特定し、セールスプロセスの全段階で顧客満足を確保
  • 顧客の技術スタッフ、リーダー、マネジメントと強固な関係を構築・維持
  • ウェブコンテンツの開発・拡充を行い、マーケティングおよびセールスと連携してサービスの価値提案、資料、セールスアプローチを改善
  • 顧客に対して現地、ウェビナー、カンファレンスや展示会などのフィールドイベントでSplunk製品・サービスのデモを実施


応募資格

  • セールスエンジニアとして7年以上の経験があり、金融サービス(FSI)または製造業界に精通していること
  • IT技術に関する確かな理解と、セールスエンジニアとして成功したい強い意欲
  • 卓越した対人スキル、文章力、プレゼンテーション能力
  • ダイナミックで急成長、変化の激しい環境での適応力と新技術の習得意欲
  • チームや本社から離れて独立してリモートワークが可能なこと
  • ビッグデータ市場またはセキュリティ市場に関する基礎知識
  • AI市場に関する基礎知識
  • 日本語でのネイティブレベルのコミュニケーション能力

Role:
We are seeking a pre-sales engineer to join our team in Splunk Japan as a Sales Engineer. In addition to requisite passion, skills and experience, you will have a measurable track record in building and managing high performing organizations. As a member of our growing team, you will play a key role driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk.


Responsibilities:
・Responsible for actively driving and leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in partnership with the sales/channels Team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services
・You also would be encouraged to have experience presenting, demonstrating and handling technical sales engagements as well as being able to present and sell our product to our customer’s technical and executive audience
・Answer technical questions from customer's regarding Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulate Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
・Identify all technical issues of your assigned accounts to assure complete customer happiness through all stages of the sales process
・Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff, leaders and management
・Develop and expand our web based content and work with marketing and sales to refine our service value proposition, literature as well as sales approach
・Demonstrate Splunk products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows


Requirements:
・More than 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer and familiarity with the FSI or manufacturing industry
・Solid understanding of IT technology and strong willingness to be successful as a Sales Engineer
・Extraordinary interpersonal, written and presentation skills
・Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing, rapidly changing environment and learning new technologies
・Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate
・Foundational knowledge of the Big Data marketplace or the Security marketplace
・Foundational knowledge of the AI marketplace
・Native level Japanese Communication. Fluent English is preferred, but not required
