Role Overview

The Civil Defense, Emergency Situations, and Fire Safety Specialist position at PepsiCo's Omsk facility is a critical role dedicated to safeguarding our production site. Based in Omsk, Russia, this full-time position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs aligned with Russian Federation (RF) legislation and PepsiCo's corporate standards. You will collaborate with site leadership, occupational health teams, and global stakeholders to elevate fire safety, civil defense (GO), and emergency response (ChS) across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the safety team, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with site managers and occupational health leads to develop and monitor fire safety, civil defense, and emergency measures throughout all site divisions.
• Designing and rolling out a management system for fire safety, GO, and ChS that complies with PepsiCo policies, GEHSMS standards, and RF laws.
• Implementing industry-leading fire safety and occupational health practices in partnership with site personnel.
• Serving as the custodian of GEHSMS standards, participating in scheduled audits as an auditor.
• Supporting GEHSMS implementation, leading self-assessments with standard holders across divisions.
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses in line with company protocols and RF regulations.
• Producing required reports on fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health for RF compliance and corporate systems like MyEHS.
• Monitoring adherence to GEHSMS and RF laws in fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health.
• Engaging with global insurers on fire safety for equipment, buildings, and structures during planning, construction, renovation, and operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• Higher professional education, ideally in fire safety or occupational health and safety.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety at a manufacturing enterprise (highly recommended).
• Validated training and knowledge checks in fire safety, civil defense, emergencies, and occupational health, evidenced by certificates, protocols, or credentials.
• Strong knowledge of RF legislation and norms in fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health.
• Familiarity with international and RF standards in these areas, plus PepsiCo's GEHSMS framework.

Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting are essential. Russian language proficiency is required, with English as a plus for global interactions.
