Role Overview

The Civil Defense, Emergency Situations, and Fire Safety Specialist position at PepsiCo's Omsk facility is a critical role dedicated to safeguarding our production site.   • Designing and rolling out a management system for fire safety, GO, and ChS that complies with PepsiCo policies, GEHSMS standards, and RF laws.
  • Implementing industry-leading fire safety and occupational health practices in partnership with site personnel.
  • Serving as the custodian of GEHSMS standards, participating in scheduled audits as an auditor.
  • Supporting GEHSMS implementation, leading self-assessments with standard holders across divisions.
  • Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses in line with company protocols and RF regulations.
  • Producing required reports on fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health for RF compliance and corporate systems like MyEHS.
  • Monitoring adherence to GEHSMS and RF laws in fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health.
  • Engaging with global insurers on fire safety for equipment, buildings, and structures during planning, construction, renovation, and operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Higher professional education, ideally in fire safety or occupational health and safety.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety at a manufacturing enterprise (highly recommended).
  • Validated training and knowledge checks in fire safety, civil defense, emergencies, and occupational health, evidenced by certificates, protocols, or credentials.
  • Strong knowledge of RF legislation and norms in fire safety, GO, ChS, and occupational health.
