Role Overview

We're hiring a Cloud Platform Software Engineer for our Marketplace Platform team in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid). The CrowdStrike Marketplace is a digital ecosystem where customers discover, try, and buy trusted third-party security apps that integrate seamlessly with the Falcon platform. In this Engineer II role, you'll develop and maintain the CrowdStrike Store ecosystem, ensuring operational excellence and integration of cutting-edge cloud-native solutions. Work with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Golang, Python, and more, collaborating across teams like Falcon Foundry and Fusion.

Tech Stack Highlights

Our stack includes AWS/GCP cloud platforms, LogScale and Grafana for observability, Kubernetes and Kafka for infrastructure, Golang/Python for programming, PostgreSQL/Cassandra/OpenSearch for data, and REST/GraphQL/OAuth/JSON for integrations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Platform Software Engineer, you'll:

• Design and implement marketplace integrations enabling seamless customer trials.
• Lead technical implementations from conception through deployment and maintenance.
• Respond to service vulnerabilities, test in pre-production, and deploy to production.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues using advanced monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity partners for successful integrations.
• Drive data-driven platform improvements based on customer feedback.
• Maintain high availability and performance of the Store platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements

What You'll Need:

• 2+ years in technical customer-facing roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS or GCP.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of API architectures and integration patterns.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and EDR/XDR solutions.

Preferred:

• Experience with marketplace or e-commerce platforms.
• Security certifications.
• Container orchestration experience.
• Observability tools knowledge.
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
