About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS OpenAI GPT3.5 & 4 LLMs - Open Sources Java C++ and Python. This role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that leverage these technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. The position operates in a day shift with no travel required.

In this role, you will:

- Design and implement scalable architectures using AWS to support complex applications and services.

- Develop and integrate AI models using OpenAI GPT3.5 & 4 to enhance product capabilities and user experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy LLMs - Open Sources, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

- Utilize Java, C++, and Python to build robust and efficient software solutions that meet business requirements.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world applications.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.

- Ensure all solutions adhere to industry’s best practices and regulatory standards, maintaining high levels of security and compliance.

- Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve efficiency.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans.

- Drive innovation by staying up to date with the latest advancements in AI and cloud technologies, applying them to enhance company offerings.

- Document all architectural designs and processes, ensuring clear communication and knowledge sharing across the team.

- Engage in regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and promote best practices.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in New York, NY. What you need to have to be considered

· Strong background in AWS, with proven experience in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions.

· Expertise in OpenAI GPT3.5 & 4, with a track record of successful AI model implementations.

· Deep understanding of LLMs - Open Sources and their application in various domains.

· Proficient in Java, C++, and Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

· Experience in leading technical projects and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $120.500 - $135.000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
