Job Description

As a GSO Infra Engineer 3, you will make an impact by giving technical expertise in the deployment and management of containerized applications. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Insurance team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled associate with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. This role requires expertise in Amazon EKS, Amazon Kubernetes Services, Docker, and AWS Cloud Formation and basics on Jenkins.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Amazon EKS, Amazon Kubernetes Services, Docker, Jenkins and AWS Cloud Formation.

  • Provide technical expertise in the deployment and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable environment.

  • Ensure the security and compliance of applications within the AWS Cloud environment.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system architecture, data flow diagrams, and user guides.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to applications and infrastructure.

  • Monitor and analyse system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technologies and incorporate them into the companys solutions.

  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices for analysis and application development.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the companys capabilities by sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.

Work model:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Hartford, CT.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until November 28, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 to $107,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
