We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. This role requires strong capabilities in data analysis, solution design, and data modeling, along with a deep understanding of modern cloud data platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Optimize Snowflake data warehouse performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data assets.
  • Participate in the analysis and design of data solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Automate data workflows and support CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Document data flows, models, and transformation logic for transparency and maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Matillion.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques. Nice to have
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lake architectures.
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering.
  • Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Certifications in Snowflake, Matillion, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics).
