Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience in Database and SQL and .NET 3.0 to join our team in the Transportation and Logistics domain. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can effectively manage and develop software solutions ensuring seamless integration and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust software applications using .NET 3.0 to enhance operational efficiency in the Transportation and Logistics domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that support business objectives.
• Ensure the integrity and security of data by implementing best practices in database management and SQL development.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development.
• Optimize existing systems and applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Document software designs processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that align with company goals.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure project success.
• Contribute to the companys mission by developing solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of transportation and logistics services.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of .NET 3.0 and its application in software development.
• Demonstrate expertise in database management and SQL with a focus on data integrity and security.
• Have experience in the Transportation and Logistics domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Show proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Display strong communication skills both verbal and written to effectively convey technical information.
• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry trends.

• The annual salary for this position is between $105,000 – $131,500 +COLA+ Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
