Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mySQL and ETL Validation with a preference for those with Property & Casualty Insurance domain knowledge. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software quality and performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and objectives.
• Implement and manage test processes ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough ETL validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems.
• Utilize mySQL expertise to perform detailed database testing and validation.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve software quality.
• Oversee the execution of test cases ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Monitor and track testing progress adjusting plans as necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure that all testing activities are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective testing solutions.
• Drive innovation in testing methodologies leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in mySQL and ETL Validation essential for the role.
• Have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus providing valuable industry insights.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills crucial for identifying and resolving issues.
• Exhibit strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Show a commitment to quality and attention to detail ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as required.
