About the role

As a Senior Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Developer, you will make an impact by designing and implementing tailored Salesforce solutions for financial institutions. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with solution architects, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead technical design sessions and architect scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop and customize FSC applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
  • Design and implement integrations with external systems and financial data sources using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools like MuleSoft.
  • Configure FSC components, customize data models, and manage business logic and security settings.
  • Oversee deployment processes and implement CI/CD practices to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to refine requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to FSC implementations and integrations.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Dallas, TX. What you need to have to be considered:

  • 5 to 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and APIs.
  • Deep expertise in Financial Services Cloud, including its data model and applications for wealth, insurance, and banking.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks and tools like Jira or Copado.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

These will help you stand out:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
  • Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Consultant.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio tools.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $83,600 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
