Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Functional Specialist with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Functional Requirement Specification Functional Knowledge and Functional Analysis with a focus on Duck Creek BA. This role requires a deep understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. The position is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex business requirements to develop functional specifications that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of functional solutions within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Provide expert guidance on functional knowledge and analysis to optimize business processes and enhance system performance.
  • Utilize Duck Creek BA expertise to design and implement innovative solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of functional specifications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee the documentation of functional requirements and ensure they are maintained and updated as necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Support the development and delivery of training materials to enhance user understanding and adoption of new systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress and any potential risks or challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all functional specifications and implementations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of functional processes.
