Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced App Security Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Guardium Data Discovery IBM Guardium DB Vulnerability Assessment Imperva Data Security Fabric and IBM Guardium DB Activity Monitoring. Experience in Investment Banking Operations is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security of our data infrastructure while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust security architectures to protect sensitive data across various platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
• Conduct thorough assessments using IBM Guardium Data Discovery and IBM Guardium DB Vulnerability Assessment tools to identify potential security risks.
• Utilize Imperva Data Security Fabric to enhance data protection and compliance across the organization.
• Monitor database activities using IBM Guardium DB Activity Monitoring to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on data security best practices to stakeholders and team members.
• Lead efforts to remediate identified vulnerabilities and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of implemented security measures.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and implement security strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the security framework.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security assessments and remediation efforts for management review.
• Support the development of security awareness programs to educate employees on data protection and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in IBM Guardium Data Discovery and IBM Guardium DB Vulnerability Assessment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Imperva Data Security Fabric for data protection and compliance.
• Have experience in IBM Guardium DB Activity Monitoring for effective incident detection and response.
• Exhibit knowledge of security policies and procedures relevant to the financial services industry.
• Experience in Investment Banking Operations is a nice to have.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address security challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
