Location: Hyderabad, IN - Work from Office

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Project Manager with a proven consultant mindset and a strong background in business and data analytics. This unique hybrid role involves managing the complete lifecycle of data-driven projects while simultaneously serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business challenges, combining rigorous project management with the ability to translate data into actionable, strategic insights. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business leaders, to ensure our analytics initiatives deliver tangible business value.


Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Management:

· Lead and manage analytics and business intelligence projects from ideation to delivery, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

· Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring a clear and measurable path to success.

· Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and decide resource allocation.

· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively developing contingency plans.

· Communicate project status, progress, and performance metrics to all stakeholders, including senior leadership, through regular reports and presentations.

2. Business Consulting & Stakeholder Management:

· Act as a strategic partner to business units, understanding their pain points and translating complex business questions into specific, data-driven requirements.

· Influence and advise stakeholders on the use of data and analytics to solve problems and capitalize on business opportunities.

· Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to elicit requirements and align on project goals.

· Challenge the status quo and propose innovative analytical solutions that drive efficiency, growth, and informed decision-making.

3. Data & Analytics Oversight:

· Oversee the end-to-end analytics process, from data acquisition and cleaning to analysis, modeling, and visualization.

· Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and relevance of data and analytical models.

· Ensure that project outcomes are not just reports or dashboards but are actionable insights that directly address the initial business problem.

· Champion data literacy and drive the importance of a data-driven culture across the organization.

4. Team & Resource Coordination:

· Assemble and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including data engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and developers.

· Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship.

· Manage dependencies between different teams and workstreams to ensure seamless execution.


Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

· Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role focused on data, analytics, or business intelligence.

· Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and within budget.

· Experience working with large datasets and a fair understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.

· Proven experience in a consulting-oriented role, either in a professional services firm or an internal consulting capacity, is a significant plus.

· Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com).

Technical Skills:
