Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced MES Functional Consultant to lead and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations and integrations across multiple manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in manufacturing operations and proven experience in MES integration with Level 2 (PLC, SCADA) and Level 4 (ERP) systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive successful MES implementations and ensure seamless integration across L2, L3, and L4 systems.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and multisite comparisons to derive unified workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MES solutions with business objectives.
  • Conduct site assessments, deployments, and facilitate activities (up to 40% travel).
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for MES systems and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related technical issues.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on MES best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain data integrity across systems.

Mandatory Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of MES and MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) applications.
  • Experience with MES interfaces to Level 2 (PLC, SCADA) and Level 4 (ERP).
  • Strong domain knowledge in manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with MES systems.
  • Expertise in MES L4, L3 & L2 integration.

Preferred Skills

  • SQL Server / Oracle database experience.
  • Manufacturing domain experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience Required

  • 10+ years in MES implementations and manufacturing operations.
  • Proven track record of leading successful integration projects.
