Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced App Security Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Information Protection and Microsoft Purview. This role requires working from the office with rotational shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our applications contributing to the companys mission of providing secure and reliable services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of security measures for applications to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks in application development.
• Provide expert guidance on Azure Information Protection to enhance data security protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to align with industry standards.
• Monitor application security alerts and respond promptly to potential threats.
• Implement security best practices in application design and development to prevent unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across platforms.
• Educate team members on security protocols and promote a culture of security awareness.
• Analyze security incidents and provide detailed reports to management for informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to application security.
• Utilize Microsoft Purview to manage and protect sensitive information effectively.
• Support the continuous improvement of security processes and technologies to enhance overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Azure Information Protection and Microsoft Purview.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of application security principles and practices.
• Have experience in conducting security assessments and audits.
• Show proficiency in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a rotational shift environment.
• Display strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Certifications Required

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
