You will manage and maintain our Oracle database environments. Furthermore you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases, as well as providing technical support and guidance to development teams.


Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products
• Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency
• Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Manage database security, including user access and roles
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
• Implement and maintain database replication and high availability solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate with developers and system administrators to support application development and deployment
• Perform capacity planning and storage management
• Apply patches and updates to ensure database stability and security


Requirements
• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, tools, and utilities
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Knowledge of backup and recovery best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification - preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) - preferred
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python) - preferred
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - preferred
