Job Description

Position: Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)

Experience Required: 9+ years Location: Flexible (Onsite/Hybrid depending on project needs) Certification: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (mandatory)

Role Overview

The Pega LSA will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-level Pega applications. This role requires deep expertise in Pega Infinity, Constellation UI framework, and large-scale solution delivery. The LSA will act as a technical leader, guiding teams in best practices, ensuring compliance with guardrails, and delivering scalable, maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end Pega solutions for complex business processes.
  • Leadership: Guide development teams, review designs, and ensure adherence to Pega best practices.
  • Integration: Work on API development (RESTful, GraphQL, .NET Web API) and system integrations.
  • Data Modeling: Define and validate data models, case types, and rulesets.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Governance: Enforce compliance with guardrails, coding standards, and UI/UX guidelines.
  • Mentorship: Train and mentor junior developers and system architects.

Required Skills

  • 9+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 6+ years in Pega implementations.
  • Strong expertise in Pega Infinity and Constellation UI framework.
  • Hands-on experience with decisioning frameworks, PRPC implementation, and large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, RDBMS, and Core Java.
  • Experience with reporting, agents, authentication services, and ruleset management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
