Technical Specialist Ping Federate

Role Purpose

Responsible for configuring Ping Federate for secure authentication and federation between CHSPSC systems and Microsoft 365 during migration.

Key Responsibilities

Configure Ping Federate for SSO integration with Microsoft 365 and other enterprise applications.

Work with IAM and security teams to implement federation policies and token management.

Ensure compatibility of existing applications with Ping Federate and MS Teams platform.

Troubleshoot authentication and federation issues during migration phases.

Document configuration details and provide operational handover to CHSPSC teams.

Required Skills

Expertise in Ping Federate configuration and federation protocols (SAML OAuth WS-Fed).

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 authentication flows and Entra ID integration.

Experience with identity providers (IdPs) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Ability to work with network and security teams for firewall and DNS configurations.

Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements for identity management.

Certifications Required

• Certifications: Ping Identity Certified Professional Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.

Experience in hybrid identity environments and large-scale migrations.
