About the role

As a SAP S4HANA Program Manager, you will make an impact by leading large-scale SAP transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery of complex SAP initiatives while aligning with business objectives and industry best practices. You will be a valued member of the SAP Program Management team and work collaboratively with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee end-to-end SAP program execution, including planning, governance, and stakeholder management.

• Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Apply deep knowledge of utility processes (billing, customer service, asset management, meter-to-cash) to SAP program design.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to align program goals with organizational strategy.

• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and SAP standards.

Work model: Based in the US

What you need to have to be considered

• 10+ years of SAP program/project management experience, with at least 5 years in Utilities/ISU.

• Hands-on experience leading ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.

• Deep understanding of SAP ISU and utility industry processes.

• Proven ability to lead large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.

These will help you stand out

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

• Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks.

• Exposure to change management and organizational transformation initiatives.

• Ability to manage vendor relationships and multi-disciplinary teams.

Salary and Other Compensation

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
