Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior .NET Technical Architect with 12–15 years of experience in software engineering and deep expertise in the Transportation and Logistics domain. This role requires strong technical proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Microservices.NET, SQL Server, and Azure/GCP DevOps. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with industry best practices.

About the role

As a Senior .NET Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and optimizing enterprise applications for the Transportation and Logistics sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices-based solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring robust data integrity and security through advanced SQL practices. In addition to hands-on development, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement across the software lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to combine strategic architectural decisions with practical implementation to deliver impactful, scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:

· Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions using Azure and .NET technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

· Oversee the development and deployment of microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.

· Provide technical expertise in C#, maintaining code quality and adherence to best practices across projects.

· Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.

· Ensure secure and efficient user authentication by integrating Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) across applications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

· Optimize existing systems for improved performance, scalability, and user experience.

· Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Work model

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until December 14^th , 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
