About This Role

Job Description

· Database migrations (including consolidating) and cloud modernization

· Design data lifecycle management frameworks including archiving, purging, and encryption.

· Create PowerShell scripts in automation of gathering data, running TSQL queries on remote servers, automating installations, enabling features like Always On, querying active directory users etc.,

· Support Azure environments - Create, Maintain, SQL Server jobs, Scripting, Indices, Views, Stored Procedures.

· Installation, Configuration and administration of open source and vendor supported database software and services like SQLDW, SQLDB, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), BLOB storage, Data Bricks, security (AAD), Synapse SQL and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

· Integrate different Microsoft BackOffice Components like MTS, MS Exchange server with MS SQL Server.

· Configure, Install and Monitor MS SQL Servers for Active – Passive, Active – Active on Microsoft NT Clustered Servers and Virtual Servers

· Write complex TSQL, Stored procedures that analyze and debug existing complex stored procedures in the production environment

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000- $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
