About the role

As Java Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by developing and maintaining robust software applications using AWS, NodeJS, Java, Javascript, and Angular JS to meet business requirements. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.

In this role, you will:

· Develop and maintain robust software applications using AWS Node JS Angular JS Java and JavaScript to meet business requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize SQL and mySQL databases for efficient data management.

· Ensure software quality by conducting thorough testing and debugging processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.

· Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and improve overall software quality.

· Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

· Implement best practices in software development to enhance performance scalability and security of applications.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.

· Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems to ensure they are scalable and maintainable.

Work model: Hybrid.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Jersey City, NJ (report to TD office weekly 3 times). What you need to have to be considered:

· 6+ years of strong experience and understanding of AWS services and their application in software development.

· Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and mySQL for effective database management and optimization.

· Exhibit expertise in Node JS, Angular JS, Java, and JavaScript for developing dynamic and responsive applications.

· Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within specified timelines.

· Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment adapting to both remote and in-office settings.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $81,337 to $114,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
