Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Test Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java JavaScript and web applications along with a strong background in test metrics and reporting. This role involves working from the office during day shifts ensuring high-quality assurance across business processes. The candidate will contribute to the companys success by enhancing software reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of web applications using Java and JavaScript to ensure functionality and performance.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for manual end-to-end business process assurance.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate and streamline testing processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report on test metrics to provide insights into software quality and testing progress.
• Use SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for tracking and managing testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing methodologies.
• Provide detailed documentation of testing procedures and outcomes for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to specifications.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
• Analyze and interpret test results to identify areas for improvement in software applications.
• Support the development team in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Qualifications
• Possess strong technical skills in Java JavaScript and web application testing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test metrics and reporting to assess software quality.
• Have experience with SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for effective test management.
• Exhibit knowledge of manual end-to-end business process assurance.
• Show familiarity with Advent Geneva domain skills.
• Understand basic programming concepts to support testing activities.
• Be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Certifications Required

ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst
