Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Test Lead to oversee the testing efforts for Veeva Vault Safety implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in life sciences, pharmacovigilance systems, and test strategy development.

Experience Level: 8+ years in Testing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end testing activities for Veeva Vault Safety projects.
  • Define test strategy, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements and system design.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and validation teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor and guide QA team members.
  • Provide regular status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Veeva Vault Safety and pharmacovigilance workflows.
  • Experience with GxP validation and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Jira X-Ray, TOSCA).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Working arrangements:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Rahway NJ. Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 88,690 K -$ 153,000 K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
