About the role

As a webMethods Lead Developer, you will make an impact designing and implementing integration solutions using webMethods.io API B2B MFT and other related products.

In this role, you will

  • Use Software AG’s web Methods suite to connect disparate systems and applications across the enterprise.

  • Create RESTful and SOAP APIs using web Methods API Gateway and API Portal to enable secure and scalable communication between services.

  • Regularly check logs, dashboards, and alerts to identify bottlenecks or failures in integration flows and resolve issues proactively.

  • Design and implement integration flows using webMethods. Configure Adaptors and connectors, Test and deploy services.

  • Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay aligned with team goals and project timelines.

What you need to succeed (Required skills)

  • 5+ years of experience in webMethods.io API B2B and MFT demonstrating a strong understanding of integration solutions.

  • Have a solid background in webMethods Integration Product and SOA Stack showcasing expertise in system optimization.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in webMethods Service Bus and EDA with a focus on enhancing data flow efficiency.

  • Display excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex integration issues.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Working Arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our client’s office in Alpharetta, GA. Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500- 132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
