Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own a product area end-to-end, from vision and strategy through execution and delivery.
- Define and drive the multi-year vision for Coinbase’s onchain product experiences, shaping the narrative from early concepts through final implementation.
- Set OKRs across multiple teams and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve them.
- Identify, define, and track the right metrics (quantitative and qualitative) for new and existing product areas; use insights to inform roadmap and prioritization.
- Balance stakeholder objectives and rigorously prioritize to maintain momentum on the highest-impact work.
- Orchestrate seamless onchain/offchain transactions, connecting Coinbase’s centralized exchange with onchain protocols to scale current products and unlock new experiences.
- Partner closely with engineers and cross-functional teams across Coinbase Retail; you’ll work with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and Coinbase’s internal exchange infrastructure to create elegant solutions for complex onchain/offchain interactions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Comfort with technical systems and strong empathy for developers.
- Proven stakeholder and project management skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong consumer product judgment and the ability to translate developer capabilities into high-quality customer experiences.
- Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and Coinbase’s mission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fresh ideas about the onchain ↔ offchain boundary for payments and flows.
- Experience building reusable or developer-facing primitives (APIs, SDKs, protocols).
- Experience expanding onchain ecosystems with developers, creators, or consumers.
- An existing network in crypto communities.
- “Crypto-forward” experience, including familiarity with onchain activity (e.g., interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, engaging with dApps/blockchain-based services).
